Barre Base is running a Beginner's Yoga Workshop on Saturday 18th June from 2-4 pm, led by Laura Pugh.
Learn the foundational poses and transition of Vinyasa yoga, paying close attention to how to modify classes to best honour your body and practice.
The class will be workshopped, so there will be plenty of time to pause and ask questions, and look closely and safe ways to move through each pose.
This workshop aims to empower you to safely practice yoga in a class setting or at home.
This workshop has been designed for those who:
- are brand new to yoga
- have been coming to classes for a while, but would love time to clarify a few poses.
- are looking to get a better understanding of the technique of postures (the how and why), so execute movements more safely and with a clearer intention.
Even if you’ve been going to yoga-inspired classes for some time, there will be so much to learn. Sometimes the true power is in taking a step back and looking at movements with fresh eyes.
We’re so excited to learn from Laura and to further enhance our yoga practices.
Tickets are $45 for the 2-hour workshop.
