12-Month Membership: Pay Fortnightly
Signing up for a 12-Month membership will cost you $35 per week (charged fortnightly) for unlimited classes at Barre Base. Members also receive discounts for special events and workshops.
By purchasing this membership, you agree to the following terms.
Barre Base Membership Terms and Conditions
FEES
a) The client agrees to pay the instalment amount at the agreed payment frequency until this contract is terminated. This will be an automatic payment via Stripe, our chosen and secure payment gateway.
b) Barre Base will allow clients to freeze memberships for a maximum of 2 weeks (in which time you are not required to make your fortnightly payment.) The freeze period is for bereavement or severe poor health and must be approved by Barre Base.
c) Barre Base has the right to increase membership prices outside of the agreed membership dates, but no changes can be made to your contract price within the agreed term.
d) We allow x3 holds throughout your 12-month membership. These holds are for a 2-week length only and must be approved by Barre Base before the hold is activated.

e) Barre Base will not refund any fees paid by the clients.
f) Fees are fixed throughout the contract that you agree to.
g) Early termination of membership: If you wish to cancel your membership earlier than the agreed period of 12 months, you will be asked to pay a fee of 30% of what is remaining on your membership. This termination fee must be paid before the membership can be ended.
TERMINATION
Termination of Membership by Barre Base: Barre Base may terminate the membership if the client: a) is behaving in a way that is detrimental to the operation of Barre Base and the welfare of each other client, and b) or by extenuating circumstances by mutual agreement.
CONTINUATION OF MEMBERSHIP
After your 12-month term, you’re welcome to continue on as a Barre Base member. However, as outlined in section 1.g, price changes could occur at this time. After your agreed term, you can continue on with your fortnightly payments if you wish and then cancel at any time.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Except as provided in the Consumer Guarantee Act 1993 or as provided elsewhere in the agreement, Barre Base shall not be liable or responsible to the client for any direct, indirect or consequential injury, loss or damage to the person or property of the client, whatsoever and howsoever arising.

I acknowledge that it is a condition of participating in this activity that I do so at my own
risk.
I accept all risks and hereby indemnify and release the trainer and any person or body directly and indirectly associated with the trainer, against all liability (including liability for their negligence and the negligence of others) claims, demands and proceedings arising
out of or connected with my participation in this activity.

even death from various causes including overexertion, dehydration, equipment failure and accidents with equipment and surroundings, I recognise the difficulties associated with
the activity and attest I am physically fit to participate safely and that a qualified medical practitioner has not advised me otherwise.

I understand the demanding physical nature of this activity. I am not aware of any medical condition, injury or impairment that will be detrimental to my health if I participate. If I become aware of any medical condition, injury or impairment that will be detrimental to my health if I participate, my trainer will be immediately informed. By continuing to participate in this activity, I accept the risks despite these conditions and am still, and will always be under the terms of this agreement.

BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATION POLICY
You must cancel your booking 8+ hours before a class commences. You can do this through your Punchpass account. If you cancel within this window or do not show to a class, you will be expected to pay a $15 no-show/late cancel fee. This is to protect all members as well as us as a small business. Please be careful when making bookings. Be sure you’re
not overbooking yourself for classes that you will not attend.
